• We are encouraging our REALTORS® to work from their home office as often as possible.
• We have asked that our agents or employees that have travelled from high-risk regions, including Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, quarantine themselves at home.
• Our offices have been diligent in our cleaning procedures. Beyond our cleaning vendors, our office maintenance technicians are using a commercial grade disinfectant in all our common areas, paying particular attention to door knobs, elevator buttons, call boxes, and other frequently touched spaces.
• We have established operational protocols that will minimize human-to-human contact, while also being extra mindful of the spaces that we enter.
• We have disinfected door knobs and other surfaces that we touch as we move through spaces.
• Because of some school closings and other special circumstances, certain associates are working from their home to meet important family needs.
• In cases where a Madison REALTOR® must remain at home, another agent may be assigned to perform services on their behalf.
• We are practicing appropriate “social distancing” by not shaking hands.
• We are conducting meetings, trainings, and events utilizing a virtual or streaming platform.
• We are speaking openly and honestly with our Buyers and Sellers about the pros and cons of holding and attending open houses, and proposing alternative marketing opportunities for consideration, such as video tours and other methods to virtually tour properties.
